One kilo of rock mussels is ideal for a pica-pica (shared appetizer) for two or three people. If it’s the main dish, we recommend 400–500 g per person.
Mussels are as tasty as they are easy to cook. In fact, the key is not to overcook them. Steamed open with a bit of lemon and bay leaves or prepared a la marinera, they are delicious and above all, quick to make.
